São Paulo, 1971, started the Grupo Como, manufacturing in industrial volumes the COMOVENT LOUVERS. More than a dream, the plant realized the founder project, that oversees a market potential for his product.
Pioneering a new system in the market, the production of louvers with wings of polyvinyll chroride – hard PVC in a frame of galvanized steel – the objective was to supply louvers with better ventilation and natural lighting to the buildings, excelent for sport gymnasium, industries, shopping centers. Not bad for a tropical country, full of sun, like ours.

The good results of Comovent louvers, started, then, to win major space in the market and in the walls of big buildings of the town. In 1991, nevertheless, appeared the first big challenge. Our main supplier of the flat sheets of hard PVC, our main raw material to profiling the wings, leaves the market. In a daring enterprise decision, the Grupo Como decided to purchase all the machines of the former supplier, installing and training his manworkers in their new jobs.
With this decision, the group becomes self-sufficient in the production, and now-a-days is capable to produce louvers of any dimensions.

The Grupo Como enters to the 21st century syncronized wth a market much more anxious for quality and continuous development of their products. With an eye in the future, the manufacturer of Comovent Louvers, however, keep the experience conquered on every one of their 28 years of success, and never let to include in their plans those who were fundamentals to his development: their customers, employees, sales representatives and every colaborators.
