ALUMINUM EXTRUDED FRAMES

To solve specific applications of their louvers, Comovent developed special aluminum extruded frames (reference 100).

These shapes are made of architectural ASTM 6063-T5 alloys designed to be applied in the pre-cast concrete beams or in closures of steel arches and double slope girders.

LONG SPAN FRAME

The long span frame has an extra resistance due to the hollow column made by the composition of two side frames of interior side of 100mmx50mm. This hollow column has load capacity to be used between longer spanned beams.It is recommended for the closure of the end of building in steel arches or double slope girders, with less beams for back fixation.

PRE-CAST CONCRETE FRAME

This special frame is used in pre-cast concrete beams, and the extra leg allows a perfect adaptation in the wall. It also is useful for the use of sealing paste against leaking.

Besides of the pre-cast concrete building, this frame can also be used in other kinds of construction, like brick one.

The use of this pre-cast concrete frame is very important to the application of Comovent louvers in the side walls of pre-cast concrete buildings.
