Wind forces

Since the louvers are applied in side closures, clerestory, end closures of building, they are submitted to the pressure of the wind, depending of the country location.

These action are prescribed by ABNT – Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas in the standard NBR-6123 – “Forces due to the winds over buildings”.

The Comovent louvers are made in compliance of these standards, but the customers must to supply the data for the correct calculation and the specification of the equipment.
